Kind Words

“After a severe bout of pneumonia requiring hospitalization in Washington, NC, I needed rehabilitation. I had reservations about local facilities due to past experiences caring for my parents in South Carolina. However, thanks to the hospital’s Case Worker, I was transferred to River Trace in Washington, NC.
My experience at River Trace was overwhelmingly positive, starting from the warm welcome by the staff to my eventual discharge after an extended stay. I’ve been especially impressed by the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy teams. They push me to improve while maintaining consideration for my needs.”

Optimal Safety

Safety is Paramount to Our Community

To ensure the safety of our patients, we have implemented a multifaceted approach in preventing viruses like COVID-19 from spreading. This includes routine electrostatic cleaning with an ionizer machine and HEPA air scrubbers as well as MERV 13 filters for better filtration systems that remove dust particles before they can enter your lungs. The best part? It works! Studies show how cold plasma therapy has significantly reduced infections when installed on site in healthcare facilities.

Partnering With Industry Experts

In response to the changing nature of infectious diseases, we’ve been working hard to ensure that our protocols meet up-to date standards. We’re collaborating with university and community based epidemiology experts as well the North Carolina Statewide Program for Infection Control & Epidemic Intelligence (SPICE), following state guidelines from CDC.
