Joetta Barker serves as Administrator at River Trace Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, bringing nearly a decade of long-term care experience and a well-rounded background in resident care and operations. She began her career as a CNA, later moving into roles as Admissions Director, Business Office Manager, and ultimately Administrator, giving her a strong understanding of both resident needs and the daily workflow of a skilled nursing facility.

Joetta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Morehead State University, a foundation that supports her operational leadership while keeping residents at the center of every decision she makes. Known for her calm, steady approach, she is committed to creating an environment where residents feel supported, respected, and cared for as individuals.

Admissions Director

James serves as a trusted resource for new families, residents, and referring clinicians, helping guide them through the admissions process with clarity and care. With more than 16 years of experience in senior living admissions and leadership support, he brings a strong service-oriented background shaped by his time in the U.S. Army and law enforcement. He works closely with care teams and community partners to support smooth, well-coordinated transitions into skilled nursing care.
